comfort food | basil, goat cheese, tomato quiche

in search of the perfect winter comfort food, we decided on a quiche.
i felt like all of the quiche's i have experienced in the past were full of bacon or sausage.
even before my life changing venture to vegetarianism.. those bacon filled quiche's just rubbed me the wrong way.

but,
this quiche had redeemed itself from the bacon filled one.
if you are a fan of goat cheese.. then you will love this. the creamy goat cheese mixed with the egg plus the hit of basil is divine.

what we used:
2 table spoons of all purpose flour
4 eggs a pinch of black pepper,
salt + garlic powder 1 cup of heavy cream
1 block of goat cheese
a handful of fresh basil leafs
1/2 tomato, chopped
