1,520 miles

over two weeks ago i bought a car. then one week later.. i drove home to texas. my friend catherine and i decided to take a trip down to marfa. i fell truly.. madly.. deeply for this city.

the home that i built

lynchburg, virginia was the town that i became the person i am today. the place where i found my source of inspiration to pursue my dreams. the place where i felt the deepest love & the deepest pain. so much growth happened in those few years that i spent here. i cherish this place. 

many of days i sat in the white hart cafe. it was right down the street from my neighborhood and i spent many afternoons sipping on coffee & journaling. this place was a shelter from all of the worries, fears, and doubts that i carried during this season of life.

returning to this place, i returned to my home.
